Therapy

Working face-to-face or online, I offer therapy that is tailored to you. Just as you are a unique individual, we will build a unique way of working that takes into consideration your experiences, context and world view. Whether you are looking to be challenged or validated, or most likely a combination, my approach is to support you as we take this journey together. All of my work is trauma informed and anti-oppressive.

Open-ended Therapy

I offer open-ended and long-term therapy, sometimes working with clients for several years. There is no minimum commitment, but rather an intention about what you are hoping to get out of your therapeutic process. We will look at your past, your patterns and your way of relating to yourself and others through a deeper relational lens where the therapeutic relationship becomes a space to work through deep vulnerabilities and uncover unknowns.

 

This could be one year, it could be many, and when it's time to end we will plan and manage it together, giving us space to process saying goodbye together. 

Brief Therapy

If you are looking for support to get through a particularly difficult time or to explore a specific issue, it may be that a set number of sessions might work best for you. Agree to anything from eight to 20 sessions, we will focus on the matter at hand, whether that's processing a break-up, making an important decision or achieving a specific personal goal. We can always adjust the number of sessions to suit your needs, checking in regularly as we go along. Please note, this is not appropriate for trauma work, but could be useful for coping with triggers and managing acute emotional dysregulation.
